Interior Design – E-Decoration/E-Decorating
Who is E-decoration for?
E-decoration is a perfect solution if you need a bit of advice and help but don’t want to hire an interior designer to come to your home, then our E-decorating service could be perfect for you. With E-Decorating we can create the look you want to achieve, despite distance or budgetary restraints and can also work within a short time frame.
What will my E-Decorating package include?
E-decoration enables our knowledge and experience in interior design to be available to anyone in a fast and easy way. We can give our opinion about your space and how to make slight improvements or give a room a whole new look by designing e-mood boards. We will supply you with two different mood boards so that you have an option of what scheme you prefer.
Once decided we will then supply a plan of your room explaining where each sourced item/furnishing will go. You will also receive a spreadsheet of all the sourced furnishings with ‘where to buy’ links, all sourced according to your budget.
We are also are just as happy to give some ideas of maybe some unfinished areas in your room, or overall advice on how to make your space work better for you.
How does the E-decoration process work?
We would ideally like to have an initial conversation to discuss your requirements and can then quote accordingly. We would then send you a questionnaire to fill in and would ask you to return it along with some photos/video clips and dimensions of your room and plans if you have them. It is also helpful to send any links or photos of inspirational ideas that you may have seen or collected. We would need to know the dimensions of the room, the height and where windows/doors and radiators are placed and also a rough idea of budget.
What do you receive with E-Decorating?
As an E-Decorating client, your E-Décor package may include: Paint chip colors, wallpaper suggestions, ideas for items to rework, rugs, lighting and fabric suggestions, sourced furniture and accessories. We will offer ideas of how to fill any empty spaces/walls along with your ‘where to buy’ list with prices and links. We are also always available to talk on the phone to discuss your project.
Please be aware that sometimes suggested items may or may not be available at time of purchase due to stock availability. In those circumstances we will will try to find you similar alternatives when possible and will always give you a few choices for most furnishings.
How long will it take to receive my E-decoration mood board?
Once your information sheet, room images, measurements, inspiration links and payment have been received, we will begin to create your design. We design each room, one at a time, and this usually takes approximately 1 week depending on our schedule and we will then send you our recommendations and mood board. If your project involves multiple rooms then we can discuss how long this will take and we will try to work within your time frame.
We try to price up jobs after discussing your needs, but prices range from £150-£350 per room, depending on scale of project.
We can accept payment by BACS or cheque. All designs are non refundable. If you feel you have more questions or require more time on the room, we charge an additional £40 an hour.
